Title IX

Discriminatory harassment is a violation, not only of Pillar College policy, it is also a violation of NJ State and federal laws.

Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972

Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 is a federal law that prohibits sex discrimination in education. It reads:

“No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving federal financial assistance.”

Sex discrimination includes sexual harassment and sexual assault.

Non-Discriminatory Policy to Students

Pillar College admits qualifying students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in the administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and other school-administered programs.
