Committed to the health and safety of our entire campus community
At Pillar College, we are committed to the health and safety of our entire campus community. Pillar College’s primary concern is the safety and health of the students, staff, and faculty.
The Pillar College Restart Plan consists of protocols and procedures implemented by the College that accounts for public health concerns, adheres to state and CDC guidelines, outlines the academic instructional delivery options, and conveys how students, faculty, and staff will work safely at all four sites (Newark, Somerset, Paterson, and Plainfield).
Pillar College is committed to providing reasonable accommodations to students with disabilities to ensure that its educational programs and activities do not discriminate or have the effect of discriminating against persons with disabilities in accordance with Federal and State law and College policy. Academic requirements that are justifiably essential to a student’s program of instruction are not considered discriminatory. Students with documented disabilities are entitled to receive approved modifications, accommodations, or auxiliary aids which will enable them to participate in and benefit from all educational programs and activities at Pillar College
To submit official documentation requesting an accommodation due to a disability, contact the Registrar’s Office: 973-803-5000 ext. 1117 or email [email protected].
Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 is a federal law that prohibits sex discrimination in education. It reads:
“No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving federal financial assistance.”
