The Certificate Program in Transformational Leadership is a dynamic and intensive 12-month journey designed to enhance leadership competencies and empower professionals at any leadership level with the skills to lead their teams to higher performance. This cohort-based program teaches the key components of transformational leadership, providing participants with a comprehensive understanding of approaches and practical tools for immediate use in the workplace. Participants will be equipped to transform their environments through a series of five sequential 3-credit courses for a period of 8-weeks each: Practicing Exemplary Leadership, Motivating and Inspiring Teams for Success, Cultivating Critical Thinking, Mastering Personalized Leadership, and Demonstrating Ethical Leadership. Upon completion of the program, the students will be able to:

  • Lead with authenticity, integrity, and role modeling to cultivate trust, respect, and commitment for team members to achieve the vision.

  • Think critically and creatively for effective decision-making to make the right strategic moves.

TRNLD 510 | Introduction to Transformational Leadership & Practicing Exemplary Leadership | 3 Credits

This course explores the foundational principles of Transformational Leadership, concentrating on exemplary leadership that entails leading by example, inspiring, innovating, empowering, and encouraging. Participants will take assessments to identify and prioritize their focal points of development. Through total immersion in various leadership situations through the case study method, learners will develop situational interpretative skills and techniques for applying insights to their personal leadership contexts to make an immediate impact.

TRNLD 520 | Motivating and Inspiring Teams for Success | 3 Credits

This course concentrates on the transformative power of inspirational motivation. Participants learn how to create a compelling vision, generate enthusiasm, and ignite team passion. They will also learn to leverage inspirational motivation for leadership effectiveness, focusing on emotional intelligence and emphasizing communication, relationship management, and the essential “soft skills.” This approach fosters holistic development, equipping participants to inspire teams through visionary leadership, connect with individuals emotionally, and create environments where teams thrive.

TRNLD 530 | Cultivating Critical Thinking | 3 Credits

This course equips participants with the skills and insights to lead creatively and inclusively. Examining intellectual stimulation, participants will explore strategies to inspire creative thinking, problem-solving, and a culture of continuous learning. Transitioning seamlessly into the competency of enabling others to act, emphasizing shared decision-making and collaborative leadership, participants will gain practical tools to foster collaboration, build trust, and distribute decision-making responsibilities effectively within their teams. This comprehensive approach ensures that leaders cultivate critical thinking within their organizations and empower team members to participate actively in decision-making.

TRNLD 540 | Mastering Personalized Leadership to Nurture Individual Growth | 3 Credits

This course guides learners to a leadership approach that acknowledges and nurtures each team member’s strengths, needs, and aspirations. Participants will learn to treat each team member as an individual with distinct goals and challenges, fostering a workplace culture where diversity is appropriately acknowledged so that every member can thrive in their own way. Social awareness and interaction further enrich this experience, enabling leaders to understand each team member’s needs and emotions and employ valuable interpersonal skills in addressing those needs, creating a harmonious and supportive work environment where each team member can thrive.

TRNLD 550 | Demonstrating Ethical Leadership & Final Capstone Project | 3 Credits

This final explores ethical beliefs, attitudes, behaviors, treatment, decisions, and organizational culture, drawing inspiration from the Ethical and Spiritual Leadership frameworks. Participants will learn how ethical considerations, informed by the leader’s character and values, permeate every facet of their leadership. They will also learn how to foster a character-driven approach to transformational leadership, making sound ethical leadership decisions from the inside out. The final capstone project challenges participants to synthesize their acquired knowledge into real-world application, demonstrating transformational leadership in their respective professional contexts.

The mission of the Business Administration and Management program is to promote our students’ intellectual, personal, and spiritual growth, to educate them in business and business and leadership principles, and to prepare them to be transformational leaders in business, entrepreneurial ventures, nonprofits, and ministry organizations. Business Administration and Management embraces a Christian worldview and encompasses the full array of organizational management and leadership curricula, including introduction to business administration, marketing, management/administration, finance, strategic planning, and leadership theories.

  • Versatility. This degree leads to many career opportunities in a variety of industries where their management and organizational leadership skills can be applied. .
  • The courses are a foundation to the study the Master of Business Administration Social Sector Management and the Master of Arts in Ministry Leadership. .

Upon completion of the BA in Business Administration and Management, the student will be able to do the following:

The Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Leadership provides the foundational knowledge and practical skills to emerge as a prepared and qualified leader who can influence change, inspire others, and deliver positive results for any organization.

This fully online program will prepare you to effectively manage the issues you will likely face as a leader or manager in today’s workplace. The following outcomes are expected. You can:

MBA Social Sector Management

Take the Reins and Lead Humanitarian, Faith-Based, or Community Organizations with an MBA Degree in Social Sector Management.

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Social Sector Management program is a 14-month program for the full-time student and up to two years for a part-time student. This 39-credit program is delivered entirely online through 8-week course modules. It supports the need for individuals with a unique skill set to serve organizations involved in social entrepreneurship, international humanitarian relief, church or faith-based, chaplaincy, sustainability, healthcare, and emergency and disaster relief.
