Sharon Harden currently teaches courses, develops curriculum, and coordinates the overall development of the K-6 teacher preparation program and clinical experiences for students at Pillar College. Her background in P-12 education includes serving in Christian, public, and independent schools. As a practitioner, she has designed professional development for administrators and teachers focusing on leadership development for school change, instructional coaching, culturally responsive curriculum across content areas, and coaching school-based professional learning communities to achieve data-driven outcomes. Areas of post-graduate training include K-12 education administration and early childhood quality and improvement standards. Her doctoral research focuses on expanding the knowledge of effective practice through collaborative inquiry with pre-service teachers to educate all students emphasizing underserved and underprepared populations.
