Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology, was founded in 1929 to encourage, stimulate, and promote the scholarship of, and advance the science of psychology. Pillar College Psychology majors are cordially invited to apply to join Psi Chi by submitting your online application here, once approval is completed by your advisor.

    Psi Chi offers members the opportunity to publish in our prestigious peer-reviewed industry journal, as well as in other widely-read publications:
      • Psi Chi Journal of Psychological Research is indexed in both PsychINFO and EBSCO databases, actively publishing empirical research by Psi Chi students and faculty to “foster and reward the scholarly efforts of psychology students.”
      • Eye on Psi Chi provides valuable articles by professionals and scholars on relevant psychology topics.
  • The Pillar College Chapter of Psi Chi can help you develop as a leader
    You can volunteer at Psi Chi conventions, join regional steering committees, or serve as a chapter officer.

How to apply for the Pillar College Chapter of Psi Chi:

1. Complete a new membership application
2. Get approval from your advisor
3. Once approved, the Psi Chi Central Office will send you an email with a payment link to officially become a member.
4. Make the payment of $60 ($55 Lifetime Member fee, plus $5 processing)

Please note:

Once your membership is processed, look for your Welcome New Member email. It will contain all the information you need to access your Psi Chi member account and take advantage of all the benefits of membership.

Your $60 Psi Chi membership fee does NOT include a certificate. A few days after your membership is processed, you will receive an Authorization Code via email for a discounted certificate price of $5 (plus shipping) that can be delivered directly to your address.

If your payment is not received by your induction date, we will assume that you have chosen to decline this invitation to be inducted into Psi Chi. Please do not forward this message to other students as this invitation has been sent to you regarding your personal eligibility status.
