Peter Amerman, D.Min., M.Div., B.A.

Peter Amerman is Department Chair and Professor of Biblical Studies at Pillar College, Newark, NJ. He completed his Doctor of Ministry degree at Alliance Theological Seminary in Nyack, NY and his Masters of Divinity at Lutheran Theological Seminary in Philadelphia, and his BA in Religion/Philosophy at Roanoke College in Salem, VA. He has pastored four churches in the southern and northern New Jersey area for 42 years, including two church plants. He is also a teacher through Masterworks, a program that equips churches and church leaders in Evangelism and Discipleship. He teaches Christian Doctrine and coaches a weightlifting program at the Market Street Mission (Drug and Alcohol rehabilitation) in Morristown, NJ. His passion is to go deeper with God through Jesus Christ, and to train and equip other leaders (men & women) in “whole-life” discipleship. He is the author of 2 books- “Mastering The Basics Bible Study Series” & “The Integrated Leader” (a study on the Book of Nehemiah).
