Erica is responsible for raising the public visibility of the College and its President, establishing and sustaining ties with wide-ranging constituencies, and securing non-student financial resources.

As Vice President of Marketing and Advancement, she oversees the planning and implementation of the College’s marketing strategies, positioning, and messaging. Erica plays a critical role in elevating College awareness through innovative engagement, in support of the institution’s academic, enrollment, and advancement objectives. She also serves as the point person for all media inquiries and public relations and leads a team in cultivating and stewarding alumni, current, and prospective donors.

Erica has 20 years of marketing and communications experience, working in a wide range of industries including retail, publishing, travel, media, and healthcare, for prestigious brands such as Toys R Us International, Babies R Us, Northstar Travel Media, RWJBarnabas Health, and CarePoint Health.

Erica’s belief that everyone should follow their passions inspired her first book, When I Grow Up…Just Imagine. She plays an active role in a wide range of community service organizations and is the recipient of the West Orange Human Relations Commission – Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s “Love of Service” award. Erica earned her BA in Economics from Rutgers University, her mini-MBA in Social Media Marketing from the Rutgers Business School Executive Education, and her MBA from William Woods University.

Pillar College will have virtual instruction and work remotely from January 3, 2022, and will resume in-person instruction and in-office work on January 18, 2022.
