Pillar College celebrates Black History Month – Featuring

Dr. Brian Rawls is a native of Newark, NJ. He was born into a household of psalmists and preachers and church planters. Having overcome many of the challenges of inner-city life, he emerged as a husband, father, pastor and educator.
“Pillar College represents the Christian worldview penetrating society. With its many programs, the college demonstrates that the Kingdom’s reach goes far beyond the four walls of the church. There is a great need to reach every strata of society for the cause of Christ. Pillar College fulfills this through its various undergraduate and graduate programs.
I see Pillar College as strategically placed in Newark, the city of my birth, holding my heart and hopes. The rich mosaic of churches and houses of worship have a local educational resource that values their distinctly Christian lens.
Pillar College is a light in a dark world.” #blackhistorymonth #pillarcollege #pillarcollegecelebratesblackhistorymonth
