Pastor Carter Conlon is a Canadian-born American minister and author, best known for his 26 years serving as Senior Pastor of Times Square Church in NYC. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board and General Overseer of Times Square Church.

Carter produces radio devotionals under the banner, “It’s Time to Pray”. His radio program, A Call to the Nation, is broadcast throughout the U.S.

In 1994, Carter moved to New York City to join David Wilkerson, author of The Cross and the Switchblade, as an associate pastor at Times Square Church. In 2001, at Pastor Wilkerson’s request, Carter transitioned to Senior Pastor. Times Square Church is an interdenominational church with over 10,000 people in attendance, representing over 100 different nationalities. Times Square Church has 900+ home satellite fellowships worldwide as it continues to expand its reach.

Carter has authored several books, including The 180-Degree Christian, Fear Not, Unshakable, and his autobiographical book, It’s Time to Pray.

Throughout his time in ministry, Carter has felt a mandate of the Lord to call the nation to prayer. This call led to numerous ministries and initiatives including Prayer in the Square, a gathering of 50,000 believers from many denominations to pray in the middle of Times Square; and Times Square Church’s Worldwide Prayer Meeting, which is live-streamed once a week and has online participants in more than 200 countries and dependencies.
