Office of the President
Dr. Rupert A. Hayles, Jr., President of Pillar College
Greetings from Dr. Rupert A. Hayles, Jr.
On behalf of the Board of Trustees, our outstanding faculty, and student-focused staff, it is my pleasure to welcome you to view what Pillar College has to offer. God has a beautiful plan for you, and it is for this reason that he has led you here. The basis of our work is built on Christian faith, with Jesus Christ as our primary source of strength. It is He who has engaged us to share the gospel with others and bring others to the foot of the cross.
Since 2001, Pillar College has been the only evangelical College chartered by the State of New Jersey. Along with regional and professional accreditation, Pillar offers federal, state, and institutional financial aid.
Our work is based on spiritual and biblical truth with the ultimate emphasis on enhancing our learning. Whatever academic program you choose, one thing is sure; you will be on a path of personal transformation as you interact with extraordinary faculty, staff, and students.
Our educational locations are in vast areas of New Jersey such as Newark, Somerset, Paterson, Plainfield, Jersey City, and other suburban areas of central New Jersey. As a result, the environment is rich with spiritual engagement, academic rigor, and social and emotional fulfillment.
Our instructors have varied high-level academic backgrounds with practical experiences that enhance the experience of those who come through our doors. With our rich curricula in career-shaping applicable majors, spiritually enthusiastic students, enriching internships, and global learning experiences, Pillar offers you all you need to be equipped for your best future.
I hope that God is calling you to engage with the College at this time in your life. If so, we anticipate and are preparing to hear from you. We want you to add to the blessing of this rapidly growing, multi-cultural community of learning and faith.
It will be a joy to engage with you, and welcome!
