Pillar College is offering a free education intensive from July 18-28 at their Newark campus located at 60 Park Place. This two-week Summer Accelerator program will focus on developing the student’s ability to think critically, write effectively, solve problems, engage digitally, and speak persuasively.
During the two-week session with classes occurring on Monday-Thursday from 8:30 am – 1 pm, students will also develop an early, personal action plan, and identify and prioritize goals.
The program offers the option for a student to earn 3 college credits for a fee of $525 and fulfilling all the course requirements.
“The Summer Accelerator Program is a unique opportunity for High School juniors, seniors, or recent High School graduates to develop critical skills to enhance their academic abilities and life skills in addition to getting a jump start on their college journey,” said Amy Huber, Pillar College VP of Academic Affairs and Student Engagement.
To qualify for this program a student must be a New Jersey resident, a high school junior, a senior, or a recent graduate with a minimum GPA of 2.0.
