Elementary Education is a growing profession, and New Jersey is leading the way. Pillar College is the ONLY college in Newark, NJ with a Bachelor’s degree program in Elementary Education! Through our B.E.S.T. for Men (Black Elementary School Teachers) Program, we intend to provide Black males with tuition-free full scholarships to earn their college degree in Elementary Education.

Program details:

• Designed for future Elementary school teachers, K through grade six.
• Teaches the skills to effectively communicate with diverse learners, particularly in urban districts.
• Promotes the intellectual, physical, emotional, and social development of young minds.
